Learning must ensure that one knows Allah Almighty!

Learning (ilm) can only be considered learning if it removes ignorance.

Learning must ensure that one knows Allah Almighty (Allah Teâlâ).

In this sense, only knowledge learned from Allah Almighty (Allah Teâlâ), and not knowledge gathered by the tools of theoretical reason, can be considered real learning.

Knowledge that comes from theoretical reason can be considered science.

Science and learning are two different things.

Knowledge gained by means of reason can be correct but it may also be incorrect. In fact, it is most likely to be incorrect. Knowledge learned from Allah Almighty (Allah Teâlâ), on the other hand, can never be wrong since it is gained by means of authentic discovery .

This being the case, science can be mistaken but learning is never mistaken!
