Postponing..

A person who intends to do a charitable deed should act immediately.

If he postpones acting on his intention by finding an excuse and saying “I will do it tomorrow, I will do it later,” it should be known that nafs and Satan will talk the person out of his intention to do that charitable thing or lead the person to do less than what he originally intended.

The best behavior that would protect a person from falling into such danger is for him to do the charitable deed he intends to do immediately.

Allah (ﷻ) knows best.
