“If the person is easily impressed by what he hears..”

If the person is easily impressed by what he hears, reason dictates that he should not lend an ear to those with wicked tongues.

Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi

A person who is easily impressed, namely a person who cannot weigh what he hears (one who does not have the right scales and the necessary knowledge) and who does not have the right judgment, should not lend an ear to those with wicked tongues.

This is what reason dictates. If the person sees that he is easily impressed by what he hears, he should avoid gatherings where such language is used and try to obtain a steady scale as soon as possible.

Allah (ﷻ) knows best.
