The Degree of Your Adaption..

Haqq’s reciprocation to the person who is thinking about what he reads or his dhikr will happen in accordance with the knowledge he has acquired.

Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, Meccan Revelations, v.3, p.332

In this case, Haqq will reciprocate (manifestation, contemplation, discovery, gain) to the degree of your adaption (concentration of the heart) to what you are reading about and to your dhikr, and the extent to which you have absorbed the knowledge you have acquired.
